Brooke & Batter started from my love of making fun, over-the-top treats for the people I love, and it's slowly turned into something I'm really proud to share with my community. I specialize in cakesicles, cake discs, chocolate-covered pretzels, Rice Krispie treats and other chocolate-covered goodies, with custom designs for birthdays, showers, holidays and all the little reasons worth celebrating. Everything is made by me in small batches with a lot of time, creativity and love. I'm so excited to grow this little business, meet more local families and hopefully make your celebrations a little sweeter.

Mother Rucker Mercantile started in our own kitchen. As a mother, I'd already cut seed oils from how we cook, and tallow had become a staple. We kept it on hand and used it every day. Then I read about using it on skin. One night I went into the kitchen, dipped a finger into a jar of tallow, and rubbed it on my face. It felt a little silly. But it also felt good, better than anything I'd been putting on my skin. So we started making it ourselves, in small batches, with a handful of real ingredients and nothing synthetic. Everything we sell is something we make and use at home first. No fragrance oils, no fillers. Just honest skincare for the whole family.

What started in their garage with a small home dehydrator quickly turned into something bigger. After friends and family kept insisting, “You need to sell this,” Tim and Megan decided to take the leap. Today, they produce 50 pounds of jerky weekly out of a commercial kitchen, all while balancing another full-time career. They offer six flavors of handcrafted beef jerky, each packed with bold flavor. Tim’s personal favorite? Hot Teriyaki — a smoky-sweet heat with just the right touch of spice to keep you coming back for more.
