Local Makers & Handmade in Prosper, TX

Mitchabout + Co was founded in Prosper, Texas, from a simple belief: the most meaningful pieces in a home are the ones that tell a story. Our name combines Mitchell and Walkabout—the last names of our blended family. We’re Tom and Jeanette, partners in life and business, parents to five daughters, grandparents to seven, and the hands and hearts behind every order. Tom handcrafts beautiful wood pieces in our Texas workshop, while Jeanette brings the creative vision to each design. We also thoughtfully select timeless home goods and gifts, personalized and laser engraved in-house. From weddings and new homes to family recipes and client gifts, we create pieces made to celebrate what matters most. Made to mark the moment.
